Biography
Dree started dancing at the age of 8 at Ballet Tech in New York City after being scouted at his middle school, P.S. 7. Through training and commitment to the art of dance, he had the opportunity to perform at Lincoln Center with the Russian ballet company Bolshoi in The Pharaoh’s Daughter when he was just 14. While taking a break from dance, Dree focused on music in high school, where he made the trumpet his primary instrument. He eventually returned to dance through the marching arts, where he discovered color guard, which shaped and encouraged him to deepen his involvement in dance and inspired him to pursue a degree in dance education. Dree graduated from Raritan Valley Community College with an AFA dance and is currently pursuing his BFA and EDM degrees at Mason Gross, Rutgers University. He now shares his passions by choreographing dance and movement in dance studios and instructing color guards at various high schools and non-profit organizations throughout New Jersey. Dree aims to touch hearts and share his love for dance, inviting his audience to take a seat in his mind and explore the thought-provoking vulnerabilities of being a dancer, all while remaining unapologetically dedicated to the art of dance.
